Practical Service and Global Connections

POEA President Gong Yunding addressed the gathering. On behalf of the association, he warmly welcomed every guest and expressed sincere appreciation to friends from all sectors who have supported POEA's development.

He explained that POEA was legally registered in San Francisco in 2023 as a nonprofit Chinese business association based in the United States and connected with China. It now represents nearly 200 member organizations and individuals. Since its founding, POEA has focused on uniting Chinese business leaders, building bridges for exchange, promoting trade and economic cooperation, and supporting the development of Chinese communities. It connects accomplished entrepreneurs, industry leaders, and community representatives in the United States and China, links Chinese business networks worldwide, and provides a dependable home for communication and cooperation.

Discussing POEA's development plan, Gong said the association would continue its practical service model. It will regularly organize high-level business delegations, connect industries and resources across markets, help companies enter new markets and identify opportunities, encourage members to participate in professional exhibitions, and create platforms for brand promotion and commercial negotiation. It will also keep channels of communication open, bring together compatriots from Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan as well as Chinese business leaders around the world, and support resource sharing and mutually beneficial cooperation.

He invited more entrepreneurs and professionals to join POEA, explore international markets together, and help build a capable, welcoming, and responsible platform for Chinese communities worldwide.
